Resume : Akira et Alpha ont passé un accord de coopération, Alpha passe donc à la phase « entraînement » et influe sur le corps du jeune guerrier. Cette fois, c'est au combat au corps-à-corps que les deux s'entraînent. Mais la montée en puissance intrigue les autres chasseurs qui voient d'un mauvais œil cet inconnu en train de devenir le meilleur d'entre eux. Akira accepte néanmoins une mission collective et part dans la zone avec d'autres chasseurs pour nettoyer un district des monstres qui l'infestent. Une mission dangereuse à plus d'un titre.
