Resume : Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem raconte l'histoire de 4 musiciens (Octave, chanteur et joueur de synthétiseur ; Arpegius, guitariste ; Stella, bassiste et Baryl, batteur). Ces derniers sont enlevés durant l'un de leurs concerts sur leur planète natale.

Ramenés sur Terre puis transformés en humains, ils deviennent des stars planétaires au sein du groupe Crescendolls.

Mais cette célébrité a un prix : ils sont contrôlés psychologiquement par le maléfique Earl de Darkwood, les privant ainsi de tout souvenir et de tout sentiment. Heureusement Shep, un extraterrestre amoureux de Stella va se lancer à leur recherche.
